You are handing over server credentials. We treat them that way.
Plainly: ftp16 stores the logins you give it, and connects on your behalf. Here is exactly what protects them, with no marketing language over the top of it.

Credentials encrypted at restAES-256 with a key generated for this installation, plus an integrity check — a modified or wrongly-keyed record fails rather than half-decrypting.
FTPS where your server offers itPick FTPS on a connection and the session is TLS end to end. Plain FTP is offered too, because some hosts still allow nothing else — the choice is yours and it is labelled honestly.
Your servers are yours aloneEvery listing, transfer and deletion is checked against the account that owns the connection. One customer cannot see or reach another's servers.
Passwords are never displayed againOnce saved, a password can be replaced but not read back — not in the interface, not in a log, not in a transfer report.
Sessions you can endEvery signed-in browser is listed on your account page and can be signed out from there. Changing your password ends all of them.
